Within the Meridiam Finance team in Paris, the Corporate Finance Intern will contribute to the valuation and modelling aspects of Meridiam portfolios worldwide. You will report to the Valuation Manager in charge of the valuation of the portfolios, and to the Chief Financial Officer.

Your missions: 

  • Take part in the quarterly reporting process and assist with the portfolio valuations (Discounted Cash Flows and other methodologies), IRRs and other performance measurements
  • Contribute to the implementation of valuation methodologies for new types of investments (PE-like investments, listed assets, etc.)
  • Modelling portfolio and investors cash-flows in fund models
  • Contribution to the investors report
  • Manage the interface with other departments within the firm (Financial controllers, Investment team, Asset management team, Investor Relations team to support investors requests, compliance and legal departments, etc.)
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Conduct proactive analysis of issues, and think creatively to identify solutions and improvement initiatives

Job requirements

  • Business school or university finance degree
  • A relevant experience in financial services, audit firm, investment banking or private equity fund
  • Intermediate usage of Excel
  • Strong analytical capacities, autonomous and proactive
  • Rigor, organization and strong team spirit
  • Fluent in English
